Italian Funk. No Compromises.
Born in a home studio. Playing jazz festival stages and club circuits across Italy and Europe. Funk and nu-jazz that sounds the way it's supposed to: raw, soulful, honest.
Jacob Collier commented on our arrangement
It started at home.
It didn't stay there.
It started with Francesco Coppola Bove, a home studio, and a microphone. No label, no plan. Just the idea that funk and soul could be recorded at home and still sound right.
Groove at Home grew from a solo experiment into a collective. Today it involves over 120 musicians from across Italy and beyond: singers, keyboardists, brass players, guitarists, people who grew up listening to the same records and play like it. The project stays independent, and it shows.
In summer 2025 we played our first festival date at the Nocera Jazz Festival. Around the same time we began working in the studio with Mario Biondi, Arabella Rustico and Francesca Tandoi, three of the most respected names in Italian jazz and soul.
In early 2026 we took the project to Europe: BIKO in Milan, Crazy Coqs in London, Das Wohnzimmer in Wiesbaden. Three nights in three cities. Each one sold out.
This summer we join the lineup at Kroton Jazz Festival, one of the more established jazz stages in southern Italy, alongside names like Andrea Di Battista and Vincent Garcia. Three nights.
From festival main stages to jazz club residencies, we bring the same obsessive attention to sound, arrangement, and the room. Every set is a living thing: music that breathes, a band that listens, and an audience that leaves wanting more.
Off stage, the reach speaks for itself: 40,000+ followers on Instagram, a 5.75% engagement rate well above industry average, and a viral video at 500K views. A community that travels with us, wherever the music goes.
The first studio album comes in 2027. Several tracks are already road-tested live. We're not in a rush.

Hear It
for Yourself.
Funk, soul and nu-jazz. A few tracks to get a sense of what we sound like.
On Stage.
Every Night.
We don't do background music. The crowd moves, the band adapts, and something different happens every night.

Let's Talk.
We've played jazz festivals and sold-out club nights across Italy and Europe. We know how to adapt to a room. Get in touch and let's figure out if it makes sense.
Festivals
A full live set that works outdoors, on large stages, in front of big crowds. We've done it.
Club Nights
Smaller rooms, more energy. The kind of set where people end up right in front of the stage.
Private Events
Corporate events, gallery openings, private parties. We can adjust to your volume and read the room.
Collaborations
Studio sessions, guest appearances, cross-genre projects. With 120+ musicians in the network, we can put something together.
